Glutathione News & Research

Follow the science. Examine the evidence.

Research moves quickly. Our News & Research centre is being developed to help healthcare professionals follow important developments in glutathione biology while distinguishing promising findings from conclusions the evidence cannot yet support.

Glutathione Training

More than research headlines.

A published study is not automatically a definitive answer. Study design, population, intervention, comparator, endpoints, statistical analysis, biological plausibility, replication and competing evidence all influence what can reasonably be concluded. Our editorial approach is designed around that wider context.

A professional research and education resource.

Publications will be organised so readers can distinguish new research from deeper evidence analysis, professional interpretation and platform news.

R

Research Updates

Selected developments in glutathione, redox biology, oxidative stress, precursor strategies and related areas of human health research.

E

Evidence Reviews

Critical examination of research questions using evidence hierarchy, methodological limitations and the totality of relevant evidence.

C

Clinical Perspectives

Professional discussion of how scientific findings may be interpreted in practice while maintaining safety, evidence and scope boundaries.

GT

Platform News

New programmes, educational developments, accreditation updates and significant additions to the Glutathione Training learning ecosystem.

What does the evidence actually show?

Our aim is not to promote every positive result or dismiss every negative one. Research should be interpreted according to the question asked, the methods used and the strength of the evidence produced.

Study Design Separate systematic reviews, trials, observational research and mechanistic evidence.
Population & Intervention Ask who was studied, what was actually administered and whether findings generalise.
Outcomes & Effect Size Distinguish biomarker changes from clinically meaningful outcomes and absolute effects.
Limitations & Conflicts Consider bias, uncertainty, funding, competing explanations and contradictory evidence.

Built for traceable professional reading.

Substantive research content will be designed so healthcare professionals can identify where information came from, when it was published and how the evidence has been interpreted.

✓Named article author or reviewer
✓Publication date and review/update date where appropriate
✓References to the underlying scientific literature
✓Clear distinction between evidence, interpretation and hypothesis
✓Evidence limitations and relevant safety context
✓Commercial relationships disclosed where relevant
